Currency exchange plays a vital role in the global economy and holds great significance for countries like Pakistan. It involves converting one country’s currency into another, enabling international trade, travel, and investment. For Pakistan, currency exchange helps determine the value of the Pakistani rupee against foreign currencies, such as the US dollar or the UAE dirham.
Meanwhile, the workers’ remittances from overseas to Pakistan recorded a significant growth of 28.8 percent during fiscal year 2024-25, reaching nearly $37 billion.
