It rained early this morning in various areas of Karachi, breaking the intensity of the heat and making the weather pleasant on the holiday, as reported by national media on Sunday.
According to details, light to heavy rain occurred in various areas of Karachi early in the morning, after which the weather in the city became pleasant. Rain was observed in various parts of the city including I.I. Chundrigar Road, Airport, Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Jumma Goth, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Scheme 33, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Landhi, Korangi, North Karachi, and New Karachi.
In addition, clouds also poured in Sukkur, Hyderabad, Matiari, Badin, Hala, Tando Bago, Mirpur Khas, and Tando Allahyar. The Meteorological Department has forecasted the possibility of rain today in different areas of Sindh, South Punjab, Balochistan, Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
PDMA has issued a rain alert from today till July 25 in 18 districts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, while there is a risk of flooding in streams and rivers and landslides in mountainous regions due to the rain.
