Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Friday, following a decline in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,500, settling at Rs355,500.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs1,286, bringing it down to Rs304,783.
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, gold prices had risen by Rs800 during the day, reaching Rs357,000 per tola.
On the global front, gold prices also recorded a drop on Friday. The international price stood at \$3,335 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a decline of $15, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs3,871 per tola.
