Pakistanis stranded in Iran arrived in Islamabad on a special flight from Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, as reported by national media on Wednesday.
According to details, 150 Pakistani pilgrims stranded in Iran due to the Iran-Israel war arrived in Islamabad on a special PIA flight, where their relatives received them.
According to aviation sources, at the request of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, the national airline immediately sent an Airbus aircraft from Peshawar to Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
Due to the closure of Iranian airspace, the pilgrims were transported by road from Iran to Ashgabat, where the PIA aircraft was already present.
More than 150 pilgrims arrived in Islamabad late at night on PIA flight PK 9552. The families of Pakistani diplomatic staff were also brought to Islamabad on this flight.
It is noteworthy that Israel, in its initial attack on Iran, martyred key figures of the country, in response to which Iran also launched attacks on Israel.
As a result of Iran’s attacks, multiple Israelis were killed and hundreds injured. Recently, Israel once again targeted Tehran, causing a fire in an apartment that was visible from miles away.
