According to details, the White House has confirmed that the meeting between President Donald Trump and Field Marshal General Asim Munir will take place today during a luncheon.
The White House also stated that the meeting will be held in the Cabinet Room, and journalists will not be allowed to attend. A top security source has also confirmed that the meeting will take place today at 1 PM Eastern Time in the U.S., which corresponds to around 10 PM Pakistan Standard Time.
It is noteworthy that prior to this, Field Marshal Asim Munir addressed a gathering of American Pakistanis in Washington, D.C. yesterday, in which he specifically mentioned President Donald Trump’s efforts to highlight the Kashmir issue.
Field Marshal Asim Munir stated that several significant developments are expected in the coming days, and this meeting is taking place at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump has cut short his visit to Canada due to the Middle East situation and has returned to the U.S., where his meeting with the Indian Prime Minister did not take place.
