An earthquake jolted Gwadar and its surrounding areas on Saturday evening.
According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 4.8, and the depth was fourteen kilometers. According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was in the southwest of Pasni. Some media reports suggested that the epicenter was in the sea.
Earlier on Saturday, parts of Karachi and some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were also jolted by two separate tremors; however, no loss of life or property was reported.
It should be noted that earthquake tremors were also felt in Gwadar on June 8. According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 3 degrees on June 8, and the depth was 10 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake was 8 kilometers northwest of Gwadar.
