KARACHI: In what seemed to be another instance of lack of police expertise, Karachi cops on Tuesday opened fire on a motorcyclist to stop him at a barricade of temporary interception.
Explaining the incident, police said they asked a motorcyclist to stop at MA Jinnah Road during the snap check, but he refused to do so and intentionally misled the cops by accelerating the two-wheeler.

The family of the victim claimed that injured Sharafat went for shopping with his friends, “He was injured because of the police firing,” they blamed.
The incident was notified by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Dr. Kaleem Imam, who sought a full report from the concerned Senior Police Superintendent (SSP) about the incident.
