Interested companies have been invited to the pre-bid conference at the PEMRA head office tomorrow. According to PEMRA, companies registered with SECP are eligible to apply. Only companies that meet the criteria are eligible to submit applications.
According to the spokesperson, applications received after May 20 will not be accepted. Companies declared eligible will be invited to participate in the bidding. The date of the auction of DTH licenses will be announced later.
According to the authorities, submission of an application or pre-qualification does not entitle a company to a license, the authority can accept or reject any application under the PEMRA rules.
It should be noted that DTH has certain features that make it a much better facility than cable TV. Through this service, consumers will receive SD and HD channel broadcasts with better picture and sound than cable TV.
