KARACHI: In a heartless move, some unidentified men on Monday poured Elfy, a strong adhesive, into the eyes of a young boy in Korangi area and fled.
The boy was taken to the Korangi hospital where he received eye drops to counteract the impact of the sticky substance after which he could open his eyes. According to the police, the incident took place in Korangi number 4.

The boy could have risked losing his eyesight if he had not been given medication on time, police officers who arrived at the hospital said after being informed of the accident.
Police said some unidentified people poured Elfy into the eyes of the boy and left, leaving him to fend for himself. The boy could neither tell his name nor could provide any information about his parents.
