An arthquake was felt in the Zhob district of Balochistan and nearby regions, causing panic among residents on Saturday.
The Seismological Center reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale and struck at a depth of 10km, with its epicenter located 135km southeast of Zhob, on March 8.
As the tremors hit, many people rushed out of their homes and workplaces in fear.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.
Authorities are urging citizens to remain vigilant and adhere to safety protocols in case of aftershocks.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) announced that the earthquake registered a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 33km.
The epicenter was situated 61km northwest of Zhob. This seismic event took place on December 16, 2024.
