Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Philip Barantini’s limited series, “Adolescence,” a gripping continuous shot drama featuring British actor Stephen Graham.
In “Adolescence,” Graham portrays the father of Jamie Miller, a teenager arrested for the murder of a girl from his school.
The series, which will be available to Netflix subscribers on March 13, is generating significant buzz with its intense narrative and filming style.
The supporting cast includes Ashley Walters, Erin Doherty, Owen Cooper, Faye Marsay, Christine Tremarco, Mark Stanley, Jo Hartley, and Amélie Pease.
Plot
“Adolescence” revolves around a family’s turmoil when 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) is arrested for the murder of a schoolmate. Stephen Graham stars as Eddie Miller, Jamie’s father and ‘appropriate adult,’ while Ashley Walters plays Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe. Erin Doherty joins the cast as Briony Ariston, the clinical psychologist assigned to Jamie’s case.
