The government has launched a crackdown on non-custom-paid (NCP) and unregistered vehicles. The operation is being carried out jointly by the Excise Department, Customs, and the Police.

According to the spokesperson for the Excise Department, the formal operation against NCP vehicles has commenced. In addition to Quetta, the campaign has been initiated in Mastung, Khuzdar, Surab, Turbat, Nushki, and Nasirabad. It also targets narcotics and unregistered vehicles.

The campaign, which began on Tuesday, will continue for one month. The Excise Department spokesperson stated that the campaign’s scope will soon be expanded to other districts.
