Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for the second season of The Night Agent, set to debut next month on the streaming platform.
The trailer, released on Wednesday, came with the caption: “The fate of the nation relies on one man. The Night Agent Season 2 returns January 23, only on Netflix.”
The trailer hints at intense action and espionage, with Gabriel Basso returning as FBI agent Peter Sutherland. In the new season, Sutherland must track down a mole within the CIA who is leaking sensitive intelligence to a dangerous group assembling a bomb capable of devastating the Manhattan area of New York.
With millions of lives at stake, he faces a web of deceit and peril. The first season’s success led to Sutherland’s promotion to the shadowy Night Action program, where loyalty is scarce and every move could be fatal.
