The 2nd Commissioner Karachi Sports Festival is set to begin on December 10, featuring a wide range of sports competitions aimed at engaging the youth in positive activities.
Commissioner Karachi remarked, “The festival will provide young people with opportunities to participate in constructive and healthy pursuits.”
Sindh Minister for Women Development, Shaheena Sher Ali, will inaugurate the event at Government Girls Degree College, Lines Area, with a cultural show planned for the opening ceremony.
The festival includes tug-of-war competitions featuring four teams of boys and girls, table tennis, and badminton matches between teams from government colleges, such as Government National College and Government Girls Degree College.
Boxing matches will take place at Kakri Ground, wheelchair basketball at Aram Bagh, kabaddi at KMC Sports Complex on Kashmir Road, and rowing at Karachi Board Club.
