The inside story of party leaders’ meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail has come to light.
According to jail sources, Imran Khan scolded the PTI leaders who came to meet him. It is noteworthy that the PTI delegation went to Adiala Jail to consult the party founder on constitutional amendments.
According to jail sources, the PTI founder lashed out at the party leaders. Imran Khan told them, “You people are of no use to me. No one followed the plan I gave to get out of jail.”
Sources indicate that the PTI founder said, “I asked for protests to continue, but all your protests failed. I specifically told you to protest during the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) summit, but no one acted on it. Only if you follow my given plan will I be able to get out.”
Jail sources further stated that the meeting between the PTI leaders and the party founder was left incomplete.
