Pak Suzuki has officially ceased production of its iconic Bolan minivan, commonly known as the ‘Cary Daba’ or ‘Hi-roof’.
Once a popular choice for commercial use, the vehicle was discontinued due to its outdated design and lack of modern safety features, which contributed to a decline in sales. The final unit, bearing chassis number 01151691, has now rolled off the production line.
Suzuki has confirmed that the Bolan will be replaced by the Suzuki Every, a more modern and well-equipped minivan.
The Suzuki Every was recently showcased at an auto show, with its official launch anticipated for mid-October, pending some import-related challenges.
At the time of its discontinuation, the prices for the Suzuki Bolan variants were: Bolan VX Euro II: Rs 1,940,000 and Bolan Cargo Van Euro II: Rs 1,944,000
