A man robbing a food center in Karachi, the country’s financial capital, was discovered to be a member of a federal law enforcement agency.
The suspect, Zahid, has been arrested, and the stolen money and other items have been recovered.
Zahid was on leave at the time, according to media reports. The proprietor of the food center where the heist took place, Adil Jan, admitted to detectives that he was acquainted with the suspect. Jan disclosed that they were having money problems and that Zahid had taken him to Surjani Town and left him there.

Based on Jan’s identification, paramilitary officials raided Zahid’s home and arrested him, recovering Rs1.8 million in cash and other items.
This past Thursday, a man in a Rangers uniform robbed a food center in Gulshan-e-Iqbal’s Sector 13-D. The suspect escaped after stealing mobile phones and cash at gunpoint. CCTV footage shows the suspect, in a Rangers uniform, entering the premises with a pistol, wearing a cap and a surgical mask. He then fled after snatching mobile phones and cash from the people present.
