Rawalpindi: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has directed party leaders to suspend the party membership of Sher Afzal According to a report by Geo News, citing sources, Imran Khan met with PTI leaders at Adiala Jail on Thursday and discussed Sher Afzal Marwat’s party membership.
Imran Khan authorized the party leadership to take action against those who violate party policies. The report states that Imran Khan instructed the party leadership to suspend Sher Afzal Marwat’s party membership during the meeting at Adiala Jail.
Earlier, Marwat had been issued a show-cause notice by the party for his controversial statements, to which he had responded.
It is worth noting that Sher Afzal Marwat gained fame after Imran Khan’s imprisonment, and his popularity soared when he had a physical altercation with Senator Afnan Ullah of the Muslim League (N) on a private TV program. Marwat’s popularity continued to rise after the incident.”
