Hollywood actress Anya Taylor-Joy, became a road warrior for her Mad Max role in ‘Furiosa’, but surprisingly she never got her driver’s license.
The movie has been released today across the world including Pakistan today. The 28-year-old actress stars as a young Imperator Furiosa in the new action film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which is set to feature various car-heavy stunt sequences.
In the movie, Taylor-Joy pulled off her duties, though, despite not having an official driver’s license. In this regard, in an interview, she told Entertainment Weekly, “I still don’t have my license. I haven’t been anywhere long enough to get a license.”
Her costar Chris Hemsworth added that, now, “unofficially, she does” after making the film. Taylor-Joy added, “It is pretty cool that the first thing I learned to do in a car is a juicy lift 180. I feel pretty secure in that. But I love cars. I love Formula 1. My dad was a power boat racer, so we’re just pretty petrol-y as a family.”
The Menu actress told EW that she knows what car she would get if and when she does pass a driving exam. “I know once I have my license, the stupid car that I’m going to get. I’ll probably break it. It’s a Ferrari Dino. Those are hot cars. It’s going to be bright yellow and I’m psyched,” she said.
