As we know Kapil Sharma has entertained us with his comedy TV show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, which has aired on Sony TV for so many years, however, it’s a great saying ‘nothing remains the same’.
In March, Kapil Sharma shifted from TV to OTT space and is currently entertaining the audience with Netflix’s ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. Now, a new report has surfaced in which it is being said that comedian Zakir Khan might soon take his TV spot.
Zakir Khan is quite popular among the young audience for his relatable jokes. Khan’s stand-ups are based on subjects of romance, family, relationships, and also a lot of poems. It is being reported that Zakir has taken The Kapil Sharma Show’s slot on TV, and his show will air in August this year.
The comedian will also host Bollywood celebrities like Sharma did. A source from Hindustan Times said, “Zakir’s show will have a mix of shayari and comedy, which is typical Zakir style.” Along with Zakir’s shayari and comedy, the show will also have Bollywood guests as it used to happen on Kapil’s show too.
Currently, Madness Machayenge is running on air and is expected to wrap up soon. On the other hand, Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show has been receiving mixed reactions from the audience. The guests which appeared on his show are so far Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, Vicky Kaushal, and the cast of ‘Heeramandi’.
