The Government of Japan has announced its MEXT Scholarships 2025, inviting promising Pakistani students to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies (Masters, PhD) at prestigious Japanese universities.
The Japan Embassy is currently accepting applications for the MEXT undergraduate and Research Scholarships (Masters, PhD) 2025. Each year, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to international students aiming to pursue undergraduate and graduate programs at Japanese universities.

Japanese universities have moved up in the latest World University Rankings.
In the annual world rankings released by Times Higher Education (THE), the University of Tokyo was ranked 29th — the highest a Japanese university has placed since 2015 and up from 39th in last year’s rankings. Kyoto University also moved up to 55th from 68th, while Tohoku University advanced from 250th the previous year to 130th.
