Hollywood star Zendaya, who recently starred in ‘Dune: Part Two’, will soon hit the screen with an adrenaline-pumping drama titled ‘Challengers’.

Helmed by Luca Guadagnino, the movie centers around two former best friends and a self-possessed woman whose hunger to win continues to grow despite a career-ending knee injury.

Zendaya is set to play the leading role in a romantic sports film. The 27-year-old actress earned around $1 to $2 million for essaying the role of Chani, a young and rebellious Fremen warrior, in Dune: Part Two. So how much is she charging for the movie?

Well, the actress is charging a huge amount of money for Challengers. It is reported that the actress received a remuneration of around $10 million (approximately Rs 83 crore) for her performance in Challengers, according to The Hollywood Reporter, The Daily Mail, and other online reports.

However, actors Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor, the costars of Zendaya in the movie, are getting paid are still unknown. Apart from playing the lead role in Challengers, Zendaya is also producing the project along with Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, and Guadagnino.

Apart from Zendaya, the sports-love triangle drama also features Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist in pivotal roles. The plot of ‘Challengers’ revolves around former doubles partners and close friends Art Donaldson (Mike Faist) and Patrick Zweig (Josh O’Connor) — who part ways when they both fall for Tashi Duncan (Zendaya). The movie was released today across the world.
