DSP Mir Khalid Zaman has been martyred as a result of firing on a vehicle in the Sabi district of Balochistan.
According to details, there was indiscriminate firing on DSP’s vehicle in Sabi. DSP Khalid Zaman was hit by 6 bullets, as a result of which the deceased police officer succumbed to his injuries.
The guard also fired back at the shooters, as a result of the firing, one attacker was injured, who initially escaped with injuries, but the police chased the attacker and arrested him from Nishtar Road.
Martyred DSP Mir Khalid Zaman is the elder brother of Sabi Ittehad chief Mir Asghar. DSP Mir Khalid Zaman’s dead body was handed over to the next of kin after necessary operations at CMH.
Meanwhile, unknown assailants shot and killed Police Head Constable Farman, who was serving as the Investigation Editor at Kaki Police Station, in Bannu’s Marian police station.
The police started investigating the incident. Alarmingly, the incidents of attacks on the police have increased during this year due to which the police force has taken action against the resulting loss of life.
