Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaqat Chatha’s explosive statement regarding electoral malpractice has stirred up the quality of maneuvering in national politics.
Amidst this turmoil, many are linking Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaquat Chatha with renowned business tycoon Malik Riaz, and some are even speculating that his real discomfort stems from Maryam Nawaz becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab.

In his clarification statement, Malik Riaz asserted that he has never met or had any contact with Liaqat Chatha, and has no relation with him whatsoever.
Through his social media statement on X, Malik Riaz said that whenever there is any disturbance in Pakistan, fingers are pointed at him or his organization without any evidence.
In his post on X, Malik Riaz further stated that everyone accuses without reason, logic, or evidence, which is regrettable. He reiterated that he has never met Liaqat Chatha or had any contact with him and expressed his willingness to cooperate in any investigations. He prayed for the stability and prosperity of Pakistan like every patriotic Pakistani.
However, the question still remains about the connection between Commissioner Pindi Liaquat Chatha and Malik Riaz, and what Malik Riaz has to do with this entire dispute.
Various claims are being made on X (Twitter) regarding this issue, stating that Commissioner Pindi Liaquat Chatha is a frontman for Malik Riaz. It is also being said that Chatha was appointed as Commissioner Pindi on the recommendation of Malik Riaz. It is also claimed that Liaquat Chatha is a business partner of Malik Riaz’s daughter.
As for the relationship of Malik Riaz with this dispute, some are claiming that in reality, Malik Riaz is not related to the PML-N, and he is being pardoned by institutions, and he is not gaining any importance from any side in this important matter, which is why he is on the verge of spoiling the election.
It is also being said that in reality, Malik Riaz does not have any connection with the PML-N, and he is feeling the possible threat of issues arising in Punjab due to Maryam Nawaz becoming Chief Minister, so he has attempted to create a crisis through Liaqat Chatha.
