The United Nations and the OIC, which has 57 Muslim countries as members, have been deeply concerned about the Palestinian issue for many years. This is because Palestine is where the third sacred place for Muslims and their first Qibla, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, is located. However, this region has witnessed a lot of violence, especially on October 7 of this year, when Israel launched a brutal bombardment after Hamas fired thousands of rockets at the occupied territory. The bombardment killed 15 thousand Palestinians, most of them women and children. Israeli forces also killed 207 medical staff and 26 rescue workers, as well as 70 journalists, and even more than 100 UN staff.
At the first Jewish conference, which took place many years ago in 1897, the Zionist nation resolved that they should have their own territory and that they should use it to gain influence over other nations. With the the Greater Israel initiative, a new race began.
The Jewish nation gradually took control of the global financial sector, bought media houses and started a movement to create a soft spot for Zionists among the Jews, and this is the result of today’s support of Zionism in the name of anti-Semitism.
When you seek for office in America, the Zionists approach you and force you to sign a pledge promising that, should you win, you will not permit any resolutions against Israel to be approved or engage in anti-Israel discourse. This is the reason why today Israel’s atrocities are being equated with self-defense when there is a clear definition of self-defense. In 1917, the British Cabinet issued a statement called the Balfour Declaration, which decided that Jews should be allowed to settle in Palestine. Under the declaration, Jews began to buy land from Palestinians who owned various properties even though they were not in their country. In 1872, Jews constituted only 4% of the population in Palestine, which rose to 10% in 1914, 17% in 1931, and 33% in 1948.
The British troops stood by the Jews, encouraging them to continue taking over Palestinian land through coercion or voluntary occupation. Approximately one million people have settled in Occupied Palestine as of late, having been transported there from various parts of the globe.
The Palestinians began their own independence struggle when Israel was established 75 years ago, but their cause was never acknowledged internationally since the United Nations National Security Council consistently vetoed resolutions supporting their cause.
Following the 1967 war, 57 nations joined the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which grew to become the largest Muslim forum globally but did not take significant action to support the Palestinians.
Muslim leaders often exhibit ties to Western countries, either due to personal interests or because they have spent significant portions of their lives in Western countries. This trend is fueled by the widespread fascination among Muslim populations worldwide with the Western culture, tolerance, professional standards, and various aspects of Western lifestyles. Additionally, individuals involved in generating undisclosed income often perceive Swiss banks as a safer haven for their funds compared to keeping them within their own countries.
The Muslim countries, whenever they gather in the OIC, are careful not to upset the United States or its allies, who are the main backers of Israel. That is why they only pass verbal resolutions in different times to support the Palestinians, without any concrete action. They never discuss any policy or action against Israel in their resolutions. They only condemn, offer aid, and reaffirm their commitment to liberate Palestine, but they do not say that they will take Israel to the International Court of Justice.
They never say on the OIC platform that they will boycott Israeli products or deny Israeli access to their airspace, and that is why the Palestinian resistance movement and the Israeli occupation of Palestine are left to Hamas, the ruling party in Gaza, to deal with.
Hamas launched thousands of rockets at the occupied territory of Israel on October 7, because they had no one to support the Palestinian cause and Israel had moved its capital to Jerusalem over time, which caused a lot of noise, but no practical action was taken, so Hamas had to take this action to resist.
South Africa, one of the biggest supporters of the Palestinian cause, not only passed a resolution in their favor but also took the matter to the International Court of Justice. Five more countries joined South Africa and sadly none of them was from the OIC. No Muslim country had the courage to take such step.
However, the OIC Charter states in its first article, eighth clause (sub-clause) that the Palestinian cause will be supported and the Palestinians will be assisted. Al-Quds al-Sharaf will become the capital of independent Palestine.
The OIC meeting was held after 36 days of the war and it should have been under Article 9, but it was not, which shows the lack of seriousness of the OIC member countries for the Palestinian cause.
The Zionists want to continue the implementation of the Greater Israel plan as the Zionist Jews have become so powerful that they can now challenge Iran and 57 Muslim countries. The only hope is that Hezbollah may show some more resistance against Israel, although Iran has not shown the same open support for the Palestinian cause as it did in the past, when it threatened to attack Israel.
Israel’s plan after the ceasefire will be to convince the world that Hamas fighters are “terrorists” who have been re-armed in the 7 days of the ceasefire, so they have to resume bombing.
The Zionists’ aim is to somehow bring Gaza to the point where they can bring their forces into Gaza, as they did with the Golan Heights, Sinai and Jerusalem after 1967, because this is what Greater Israel means that Israel should dominate and occupy not only Palestine, but also other regions of Arabia.
If any country, including Pakistan, wants to truly support the Palestinians, they should first strengthen themselves, because IMF loans or petrodollars will not help. Only then can they raise a strong voice for the Palestinian cause at the global level and perhaps pave the way for the freedom of Palestine.
