Senior journalist and TV anchorperson Sami Abraham returned home in the early hours of Tuesday after going missing from the federal capital last week.
The anchorperson confirmed his return as he took to his official Twitter account to thank the Almighty.

It should be noted that at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, between eight and 10 men—some wearing uniforms—detained Abraham, president and anchor of BOL News, while he was going home from the privately owned broadcaster’s office in the capital Islamabad, according to news reports.
Earlier on Monday, Abraham’s daughter, Zainab Sami, tweeted the “great news” her family received and shared that her father had “reached home safely”.
Alhamdulillah my family and I received great news today.
My dad, Sami Abraham, reached home safely just moments ago.
I want to say thank you so so much to everyone who helped spread the news and made this happen.
This wouldn’t have been possible without you ????????????— Zainab Sami (@zainabsami00) May 29, 2023
Zainab thanked “everyone who helped spread the news” and made Abraham’s return “possible”.
Abraham’s “good friend” Supreme Court Advocate Raja Aamir Abbas also announced that the journalist was “back” with a picture of Abraham in a hospital bed.
