PESHAWAR: Counter-Terrorism Police (CTD) has arrested three terrorists while conducting an operation in Al-Harram Model Town Ring Road in provincial capital Peshawar
According to the CTD officials, the arrested wanted terrorists belong to Khyber tribal district, during the operation one terrorist managed to escape from the spot.
CTD officials said that grenades, SMGs, and magazines were recovered from the possession of the arrested terrorists, while further investigation of the terrorists is going on.
On the other hand, one student lost his life while 6 were injured as a result of the accidental shooting of a policeman in a school in Swat yesterday.
Police sources say in this regard that a police officer posted on the security of a government school in the Sangota area of Swat accidentally opened fire.
Police officer Muammar Alam Khan has been arrested and further investigation is being conducted regarding the incident, while the injured students have been shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital.
