The well-known Pakistani playwright and actor Shoaib Hashmi, who has been bedridden for 14 years, has passed away.
This news was shared on social media through Adil Najam that the well-known Pakistani actor is no more.
The playwright and professor Shoaib Hashmi’s health condition was not stable as he had a stroke 14 years ago, after which Shoaib Hashmi had been bedridden, unable to speak or walk by himself. There was no positive change in his condition.
Shoaib Hashmi wrote and acted in popular dramas in the 70s. Shoaib Hashmi’s famous dramas include ‘Akkar Bakka’r, ‘Sach Gup’, ‘Taal Matol’ and ‘Balila’.
In 1990, Shoaib Hashmi used to write a column in a private newspaper under the name aal Matol. Shoaib Hashmi received the best performance award in 1995 and was also honored with the Tamgha Imtiaz.
