President expresses concern over Imran’s health and security

ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi on Wednesday came in open to express solidarity with PTI Chairman Imran Khan as he conveyed goodwill message to Imran’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan.

The president asked his wife Samina Alvi to get in touch with Imran Khan’s sisters and let them know that he is working to ensure Imran Khan’s wellbeing.

The President shared his sentiments with his spouse and asked her to contact with the sisters of Imran, The News reported on Thursday.

As a result, the first lady had phone contact with the two sisters of the PTI chairman.

In a statement, Ms. Samina Alvi stated that she spoke with Imran’s sister, who maintained there was no evidence of their brother stealing public property. Imran’s sisters expressed anger at his imprisonment and urged the public to continue peaceful demonstrations as long as their brother wasn’t released.

According to reports, President Alvi is still in touch with the PTI leadership to find out the circumstances and to discuss the latest political events.
