FAISALABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhry has alleged that another audio tape has surfaced, which reveals the party and its leadership have been subjected to abuse.
Talking to newsmen here on Monday, he claimed that the leaked audio further supports the party’s assertion of bias against PML-N.
Talal Chaudhry emphasized the significance of adhering to the constitution and governing the country accordingly, regardless of personal preferences, and stressed that decisions should not be based solely on family’s preferences. He accused judges of superior judiciary of making biased verdicts in favor of Prime Minister Imran Khan, stating that these decisions were influenced by the opinions of his children and family members.
Talal called on the Chief Justice to resign, alleging that certain circumstances were intentionally created in 2017 and 2018 to ensure Imran Khan becomes the Prime Minister. He further added that the ongoing Punjab elections are being used as an excuse, and Article 184(3) is being misused to bring Imran Khan back into power.
Talal accused certain judges of announcing judgments that are not in accordance with the constitution and laws, and said that these decisions are being made on the wishes of their families and in-laws.
“Imran Khan is a complete failure, and ousted from politics through a no-confidence movement, and that Pakistan has no friend abroad and Kashmir is also lost,” he added.
