PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Saturday dismissed from service a district and session has been sacked on corruption charges.
According to a letter copy of which is available with MM News, the District session judge Syed Asghar Shah has been terminated from the service when corruption charges were proved against him after proper investigation.
The letter says the accused was issued show-cause notice but he failed to give satisfactory reply.
The letter maintained that Rs 12 million have been recovered from the accused while RS 3 million yet to be recovered. The accused has been sacked under government civil servant rules 2011.
The court ordered that the judge be dismissed from service and ordered further proceedings to recover the embezzled money from him.
