ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry has warned of anarchy in case of constitutional orders of judiciary are not respected.

His comments came after Sindh government announced not to hold Local Government elections in Karachi and Hyderabad, originally scheduled for January 15, after its ally, re-unified MQM demanded to scrap structure of Union Councils (UCs).

Taking to Twitter on Friday, Fawad Chaudhry said the government had already disdained court orders regarding LG polls in Islamabad and now, orders of Sindh High Court were being spurned.

Referring to the presser by newly unified MQM that it won’t allow LG elections unless and until its demands were met, Fawad Chaudhry said the new party had threatened the courts in its very first press talk.

Fawad Chaudhry said if the constitutional orders of courts were rendered valueless, the country would slip into anarchy.
Earlier in tweet, he termed the re-unification of different MQM factions as ‘forced marriage’ by Jirga.
