Bollywood movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been featured in the list of 301 films eligible for Oscars 2023.
Since the news has been posted, many netizens expressed happiness and congratulated the team the movie and the actors, however, there were few who were displeased with the money being shortlisted for the academy awards.

Kashmir Files has not been “shortlisted” for Oscars. Oscars released a list of 301 films which are “eligible”. Kashmir Files is one of them along with 10 Indian films. RRR has bad politics but it is not a propaganda film like Kashmir Files. Purpose of Kashmir Files wasn’t to throw light on the plight of the victims but to fuel hatred against you know who. RRR doesn’t peddle hate. It has upper caste gaze.
