The series revolves around a secret contest where 456 players, all of whom are in deep financial hardship, risk their lives to play a series of deadly children’s games for the chance to win a â‚©45.6 billion (US$35 million, €33 million, or £29 million as of broadcast) prize. Squid Game became a social media sensation, and it only took 12 days for it to become Netflix’s most popular show. Â
Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer story (2022)
The series is about the life of Jeffrey Dahmer, and how he became one of the most notorious serial killers in America. His murders were executed in Bath Township, Ohio, West Allis, Wisconsin, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin between 1978 and 1991.
Despite this, the show became a massive hit, with 856.2 million hours watched in its first 28 days on Netflix, indicating that many are fascinated with macabre stories.
