ISLAMABAD: The US online payment system service PayPal has not included Pakistan in its three-year road map.

A delegation of Pakistan’s Ministry of Information Technology visited the United States last month to convince the international online payment company for bringing its business to the country.
The Ministry delegation was told that PayPal did not include Pakistan as Pakisatn did not have adequate business opportunities to attract the firm.

A senior official of the National Institute of Technology Board, Sabahat Ali Shah said that Pakistan was hopeful to bring the service to the country.
He added, “The move will be made in order to facilitate those citizens who earn from abroad and find it difficult to transfer their money.”
Newly elected Federal Minister for Planning and Special Initiatives Asad Umar in February announced to bringing PayPal in Pakistan.
