PM lays foundation stone of welfare hospital in Mianwali

MIANWALI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has laid the foundation stone of Mother and Child Hospital in his native town today.

The prime minister also placed the foundation of the University of Mianwali and Sargodha-Mianwali Road.

The premier also reviewed the ongoing development projects in Mianwali.

He was also briefed regarding the ongoing development projects in Mianwali.

Chief Minister Punjab Usman Bazdar and Punjab Minister for Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid were also accompanied by the premier for the occasion.

In regard of on-going projects, the Punjab government transferred eight doctors from other districts to District Hospital Mianwali to meet the shortage of trained doctors.

Earlier, Imran Khan had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump where Trump thanked the prime minister for his efforts conveying the release of Western hostages from Afghanistan.

Both leaders agreed to continue to work together for the promotion of this shared objective.
