NEW DELHI: The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) is reported to have killed a man near international border in Rajasthan, calling him ‘Pakistani intruder’.

Reports gathered by MM News revealed that the incident took place last night at Karanpur sector of Sriganganagar in Rajasthan state. The Indian BSF said a 10 rupee note of Pakistani currency, cigarette, lighter, matchbox and medicine and other small items were recovered from the ‘intruder’, who appeared to be of nearly 45 years of age.

According to Indian media reports, a senior BSF officer confirmed that the incident took place at 14 S village, near the Harmukh check post in Sriganganagar in Rajasthan. He claimed the BSF troops on patrolling duty warned the intruder not to move forward, but he added he did not pay any heed and kept moving towards the fence, after which he was shot down.
“We have informed Pakistan rangers about the incident but they are verifying the identity of the intruder. If they refused to accept the body then it will be cremated as per protocol. We are waiting for official confirmation or denial from the Pakistan side,” he said.

MM News has learnt that Pakistan Rangers have refused to accept the body of the unknown man who, according to BSF, tried to enter Indian territory on the previous day.
