RAWALPINDI: The coach of England Cricket Team Brendon McCullum has expressed satisfaction over security arrangements taken by Pakistan.
The England team had arrived in Islamabad on Sunday ahead of the three-match Test series, starting in Rawalpindi on December 1. The visitors had received a warm welcome from the local authorities after reaching Islamabad on Sunday, November 27.
England will play a Test series on Pakistan soil after a gap of 17 years. They last played a red-ball game in Pakistan in 2005, losing the three-match series by a 2-0 margin.

Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi on Monday, he said he is looking forward to the test series and that it is a great opportunity to play cricket in Pakistan. Brendon McCullum said Pakistan has a very good bowling and batting squad. He said “one thing with this Pakistan side is if you look at the team sheet, you find talent everywhere.”
He confirmed that Mark Wood will miss the first Test, but could be back for the second in Multan. He said “we will try and respect condition but it is authentic to our line up to play aggressively. It is what gives our players freedom to perform.”
Talking about the hospitality, McCullum said “we’re being looked after very well, hospitality here is very good.”
Speaking about the prospects of win or defeat, he said “one thing I can guarantee is there will be no DRAWS in this series, we will be pushing for results because it is our obligation that people walk away entertained. If we get beaten with this approach, that’s ok.”
Brendon McCullum said “it’s really great to be back here in Pakistan. We will try to entertain fans, if people pay their money to watch you play then you should entertain them. This series is a terrific opportunity for Rehan Ahmed, it can unlock your skill”
