ISLAMABAD: Former President Asif Ali Zardari’s blood pressure and sugar level could not return to normal, sources at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences hospital said today.

The former president has been under treatment at the cardiac center of PIMS hospital for the last three weeks. He is on judicial remand in the fake accounts case.
Asif Zardari has been undergoing physiotherapy for the last three days. A medical board constituted to oversee his treatment had prescribed physiotherapy due to pains in his back and neck. His blood pressure and sugar level have not yet returned to normal and the heartbeat is still fluctuating frequently, according to the reports.
Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party protested outside Karachi Press Club for not providing a personal physician to Asif Ali Zardari in jail.
Provincial minister Saeed Ghani on the occasion said PPP is being subjected to political victimization. He has said that for the first time in history a case in one place is being run from another place.
Saeed Ghani cleared that Asif Zardari is not demanding relief but his due right as a Full-Term Former President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He is not being treated as a Pakistani citizen, the minister added further.
A large number of workers including advisors, Special assistants and members of National and Provincial Assemblies participated in the protest staged by PPP.
The protestors said the purpose of this protest is to open the eyes of the government against its ill policies against PPP and Asif Zardari.
