ISLAMABAD: The Federal government has decided to form 3-members commission to probe into the murder of prominent journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya. The commission would be formed under Pakistan Commission of Inquiry Act 2017, and would be headed by Justice (R) Abdul Shakoor Paracha.
According to details gathered by MM News, the federal interior ministry has sent a summary to the cabinet, seeking to form 3-members commission.
The federal government on October 25 had announced forming Judicial Commission to investigate into the murder of prominent journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya. Federal information minister Maryam Aurangzeb had announced that the Judicial Commission would be headed by a High Court judge, who would be able to induct member from media and civil society to ascertain facts related to the killing of Arshad Sharif.
