Stunned by how PML-N blatantly lies in NA: Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that he was stunned by how Pakistan Muslim League-N blatantly lies in the National Assembly (NA).

The statement came after a PML-N member Khawaja Asif’s speech in the NA where he claimed that the government’s law officer remarked negatively about his leader Nawaz Sharif.

According to Khawaja Asif, the government’s law officer said, “Let Nawaz Sharif die for all we care.”

In this regard, Fawad Chaudhry posted on twitter, “Yesterday, Khawaja Asif on the NA floor. I am shocked by how he blatantly lies in the National Assembly (NA).” 

He said, “Paragraph number two of the court orders exposes (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif’s lie about government’s law officer that he told in the National Assembly.”

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader also shared paragraph number two of the court order which states: “We are also satisfied after hearing the nominated representatives of the Chief Minister, Punjab and the Prime Minister of Pakistan that they also have no objection if interim bail till 29-10-2019, is granted.”

Earlier on Thursday, Fawad Chaudhry said that the incumbent government took a big step by allowing Nawaz Sharif to travel abroad.

Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet said that PML-N should stop politicizing his leader’s health and ensure the guarantee.
