KARACHI: The provincial government has announced a holiday in educational institutions in various cities of Sindh.
Examinations and various tests as well as other academic activities will remain completely closed. According to the details, the provincial government under the leadership of Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced a holiday in various cities of Sindh including Karachi after the Meteorological Department predicted more rain.
The purpose of the provincial government’s holiday decision is to protect the students. The meteorological department has predicted rain as well as urban flooding today, while the lives of citizens are in danger due to continuous rain.
It should be noted that due to the overflowing of the Malir river in Karachi last night, rainwater has entered the houses. Sindh Education Minister says that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has instructed the Education Department to give a holiday today.
