ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has denied the arrest of the Awami League chief and said that there is no need for the government to arrest Sheikh Rasheed.
According to details, the Interior Minister said that Sheikh Rasheed was not present in the meeting of Tehreek-e-Insaf that we have information about. “If his role is revealed, action will be taken against the former federal minister,” he said.
It should be noted that earlier the former Interior Minister and Awami League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that four police vehicles and personnel were sent to his house. “If they come to my house without a warrant, I have the right to defend myself,” he maintained.
