Section 144 has been imposed banning boating and bathing at Karachi’s sea view, the country’s largest city. Police claim that those violating the ban will face action.
According to the details, Section 144 was imposed by Commissioner Karachi on bathing or boating in the sea of Karachi. Prohibition is being implemented in all the coastal areas of Karachi and Hub Nahar as well.
Commissioner Karachi says that the ban had to be imposed due to the high waves generated in the sea during the current monsoon season and rains. Bathing, diving, swimming, and boating in the sea were prohibited.
Karachi Police will be authorized to take action against those who violate the ban. Commissioner Karachi says that the ban imposed from today is being applied till August 17.
It should be noted that many people have been killed and injured in various accidents during the recent rains in Karachi. Last month, 6 people drowned in the sea on Hawke’s Bay beach.
