ISLAMABAD: Around 582 cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country, while two more citizens died due to the virus.
According to the statistics released by the National Institute of Health, a total of 15,50,880 people have been affected by coronavirus, while 30,469 have died due to the virus. The mortality rate remains at 2 percent.
During the last 24 hours, 19,389 tests were conducted for the diagnosis of coronavirus across the country, while the ratio of positive cases was 3 percent. 178 patients of coronavirus are in intensive care.

On the other hand, in Balochistan, the coronavirus epidemic spread in 17 districts due to monsoon rains and flooded rails. 11 people died due to diarrhea and cholera.

After the recent monsoon rains in Balochistan, stomach and intestinal diseases spread in different areas. Within 10 days, 11 people lost their lives due to diarrhea and cholera. In Zhob, 9 people died of diarrhea, while in Khuzdar, 2 people died of cholera.
It should be noted that earlier during the monsoon rains, 100 people died in various accidents in Balochistan. Various districts of the province have been declared disaster prone.
