LAHORE: The son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been declared a fugitive in the FIA money laundering case while the Prime Minister has been ordered to appear in the next hearing.
According to details, during the hearing of the money laundering case in the Special Central Court, the FIA investigating officer submitted his report. On this occasion, the court declared Shehbaz Sharif’s sons Sulaiman Shahbaz and Tahir Naqvi as notorious and sought details of the properties of both the accused.
It may be recalled that both the accused were not appearing in court despite being summoned. The court also sought details of the death certificate of Maqsood, a co-accused in the money laundering case.
The court granted a one-day apology to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and directed him to appear at the next hearing. The trial was later adjourned till July 30.
