ISLAMABAD: The power crisis in the country has intensified due to the non-availability of fuel required for power generation and the non-maintenance of important power plants.
All urban centers like Karachi, Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Sialkot have been severely affected by 4 to 10 hours of load shedding and 10 to 12 hours in rural areas. Load shedding of 3 to 4 hours is going on in Karachi due to a shortage of 300 MW power supply from the National Grid.
There are currently 10 to 12 hours of load shedding in Sindh. There is a power outage in Rawalpindi for 4 to 5 hours. Residents of Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Sialkot and their rural areas are also facing power outages for 4 to 10 hours.

4 to 10 hours of load shedding is taking place in Lahore and its suburbs. The power outage in Mepco has reached 12 hours. Power outages in Balochistan reached 10 to 12 hours and KPK is also facing power outages for 6 to 12 hours.
