KARACHI: Following the decision of the Supreme Court by Prime Minister Imran Khan, there are rumors circulating across the country regarding the no-confidence vote and addressing the special session of the nation convened today.
Political sources said that it is possible that the prime minister will resign from the PM’s post to avoid a no-confidence motion and the option of collective resignations to prevent the opposition from forming a government is also under consideration but a new surprise like April 3 is also possible.
It may be recalled that the Supreme Court of Pakistan while ruling on the legality of the Deputy Speaker’s decision and the President’s self-notice case regarding the dissolution of the National Assembly, had declared the Deputy Speaker’s ruling unconstitutional.

The decision also declared unconstitutional the adjournment of the National Assembly for an indefinite period. The no-confidence motion will remain pending, dissolving the assemblies was also against the law, dissolving the National Assembly was also against the law, and the National Assembly will be restored to its old position.
