ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has taken a dig at the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party.

In a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry said that the goons of Jamiat grabbed their ears and apologized and left which they should not have. However, this incident has once again exposed the fake intellectuals who also refrained from supporting groups in spite of Imran Khan, the minister added.

On the other hand, Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill said that Fazal-ur-Rehman kept calling here and there throughout the night asking for amnesty to release his servants, leaving him with some honor.

— Dr. Shahbaz GiLL (@SHABAZGIL) March 11, 2022

It should be noted that the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has withdrawn the strike call after the release of the workers.

JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the administration has released their MNAs and arrested workers so they do not need to protest, workers remain calm.
