Peshawar Zalmi defeated Quetta Gladiators by 24 runs in the 22nd match of HBLPSL 7 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore as the Gladiators failed to reach the target of 186 runs.
According to details, Peshawar Zalmi started batting first after winning the toss. Captain Wahab Riaz’s decision proved to be correct. Zalmai’s team scored 185 runs in the allotted overs.
Quetta Gladiators had to score 186 runs to win the match, but in the allotted 20 overs, the Gladiators scored 161 runs while they had lost 8 wickets. Val Smith of Gladiators scored 99 runs off 60 balls alone in reply to the fifty of 2 players of Peshawar Zalmi, however, his brilliant innings could not win Quetta Gladiators.
